I was the Head Coach of the Chico State Womens Lacrosse Program from 2007 to 2012. I understand the relationships that Chico State athletes have toward their teammates. This tragedy is devastating to all involved. My thought and prayers go out to Nick's family, friends, and teammates.
My daughter plays for the Chico State Women's Lacrosse team. We are all so very devastated by your loss, and so admire the grace with which you are handling this terrible event. Nick sounds like a wonderful young man.
I only knew Nick for a short time but I am proud to have called him a brother and a friend, I hope I can live my life with even a fraction of the dedication and drive that he had. RIP "el gun"
I am a relatively new resident of Coronado and a very new School Board Member. I am very sorry for your loss.
While I did not know Nick, reading about him and his values through your site gives me a solid image of the man he was and how he has and will continue to help others via your Foundation. Thank you.
Still think of him almost every day. He lived more in his few years than I can hope to in my entire life.
I wish I could say more. Unfortunately, as I think back to the memories we shared, I'm as speechless as my body is numb. He will live on forever. I will be sure of it.
